Having grown up with both a mother and father who owned court reporting companies, he has been around the profession his entire life. Prior to joining DFW, he spent 10 years in the residential mortgage industry and co-founded an online residential mortgage company in 1997. He initially oversaw the technological and marketing needs of the rapidly growing online mortgage company and went on to help the business grow nationwide. This company ultimately went on to a successful IPO on the New York Stock Exchange in August of 2004. In 2002 Michael decided to join with his father and sister and start a family- owned court reporting company. He thought it would be fun and a good experience to work with his family. Upon joining DFW, he brought his extensive technological and managerial experience to help DFW develop into a high-tech court reporting company. Michael is a Certified LiveNote Trainer and frequently provides attorneys with LiveNote CLE training. He has given his LiveNote CLE course dozens of times.
